Social Media Manager

The international dance and theatre company Constanza Macras / DorkyPark, based in Berlin, is looking for a Social Media Manager (f/m/d) for 20 hours per week. The work can mostly be done remotely, with occasional attendance at rehearsals, premieres, and performances in Berlin.

Constanza Macras / DorkyPark produces 2–3 stage productions per year, alongside additional projects such as symposia, festivals and open workshops. Productions are primarily developed in Berlin and occasionally abroad upon invitation.

We are looking for someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on content creation and help strengthen the company’s digital presence and audience engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, producing, and publishing content for the company’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Creating and managing paid social media campaigns
  • Developing communication strategies and timelines for productions, tours, and events
  • Coordinating social media activities with the company’s press and communication strategy
  • Community management (messages, comments, audience interaction)
  • Monitoring performance and preparing analytics reports (reach, engagement, growth)
  • Managing the editorial calendar
  • Maintaining and updating the company website
  • Collaborating closely with the internal team on digital communication and audience outreach

Your profile:

  • Professional experience in social media management, ideally in the theater, performing arts, or creative sector
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific storytelling and audience engagement on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Experience creating visual and video-based content (Reels, short-form video, behind-the-scenes formats)
  • Experience with social media planning and analytics tools
  • Knowledge of paid social media advertising and campaign optimisation
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills; German is an advantage
  • Independent, reliable working style
  • Interest in contemporary dance, theatre, and interdisciplinary performing arts
