Costume Designer

The international dance and theatre company Constanza Macras / Dorky Park is looking for an experienced Costume Designer for the upcoming film project to be developed in summer 2026 and filmed in September 2026 in Berlin.

We are looking for someone who can:
• Develop the overall costume concept in close collaboration with the director and artisticteam
• Translate the artistic vision into a coherent and strong costume language across characters and scenes
• Design and/or source costumes as required for the production
• Work with existing wardrobe pieces and manage alterations and adjustments
• Organise and conduct costume fittings with performers
• Supervise all costume-related checks to ensure costumes are ready during shoot days
• Collaborate closely with director, production designer, and performers

Requirements:
• Proven experience in costume design for film or audiovisual productions
• Strong conceptual thinking and visual storytelling skills
• Confident in working with performers in fittings and on set
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production context
• Based in Berlin or available to work in Berlin during production period
• Good English communication skills (German is a plus)

Schedule:
• Development & preparation: June-August 2026
• Shoot: September 2026 (approx. 2 shooting weeks)
